Unfortunately I have to announce that Creative Computer Club is no more and nor do I have any plans in the near future to re-start it. This is largely due to both work and family commitments as much as it is the problem of CCC having a real "home" to operate from.
All of the free learning resources in the header will remain as they are still regularly downloaded by hundreds of parents and teachers.
Creative Computer Club ran from June 2011 to July 2013 and was a great experience for everyone involved, I am still hearing positive things about those who took part, many of which are now completing their GCSE's and going on to A-Levels. Pretty impressive when you consider we were only had funding to run for 8 weeks.
I sincerely believe that CCC not only helped those learn about technology, but build confidence and skills to be used in other areas of their lives.
So although it is sad that the CCC is no more, what we did was a really positive thing.
Maybe it is time for someone else to take the initiative?
